Do you want a brighter, more harmonious, or simply different smile?

Dental veneers are the ideal solution! In a very short time, all those imperfections affecting the aesthetics of your smile will become a mere memory, and you’ll wonder why you didn’t choose for dental veneers treatment sooner!
About

What does it mean dental veneers?

Dental veneers are prosthetic works similar to thin sheets that are applied to the front surface of the teeth.
They can solve a wide range of cosmetic dental issues and are among the most popular aesthetic dentistry procedures.

When are dental veneers indicated?

Dental veneers can be the ideal solution for:
Chipped or fractured teeth;

Diastema or gap teeth;

Discoloration that does not disappear even after professional teeth whitening;

Teeth that are too small;

Teeth with shape anomalies;

Unaesthetic interdental spaces;

The only condition you must meet to be considered an ideal candidate for dental veneers is having healthy teeth. If you have cavities or other oral conditions, we will need to treat them before discussing veneers. But don’t worry! No matter what kind of dental treatments you need, you can benefit from them at Smile Vision!

How are dental veneers applied?

The application of dental veneers involves several steps, usually completed in one or two sessions. The main stages are:
01
Consultation
The dentist will evaluate the condition of your teeth, determine whether you are a good candidate for veneers, and recommend the type best suited for you. You will also see a preview of how your smile will look after the procedure.
02
Tooth preparation
A slight reshaping of the tooth surface is performed to create space for the veneers. In the case of no-prep veneers, this step may not be necessary.
03
Impression taking
Dental impressions are taken to create customized veneers that fit perfectly.
04
Veneer placement
The final veneers are permanently bonded to the surface of the teeth.
05
Results
Dental veneers provide a brighter, more uniform, and aesthetically pleasing smile. The results are long-lasting and can be maintained through regular check-ups and proper oral hygiene.

How much do dental veneers cost?

The price of a veneer depends on the material used and the technique applied. For example, composite veneers are usually less expensive than ceramic ones. The total cost of treatment also depends on the number of teeth being restored.

Advantages and disadvantages of dental veneers

Advantages

The most important advantages of dental veneers are:
They are minimally invasive;

They are extremely durable and long-lasting;

They can change both the color of the tooth and, more importantly, its shape and position, sometimes serving as an alternative to braces;

The color of dental veneers is permanent and does not change over time;

They are perfectly compatible with natural tooth enamel and can be made from ceramic or composite materials;

They provide natural yet noticeable results;

They are the fastest solution for correcting various aesthetic dental issues.

Disadvantages

Disadvantages of dental veneers are a few:
They can only be applied to healthy teeth;

They cannot be repaired if they break or chip;

If veneers are applied after tooth reshaping, the procedure is irreversible;

There is a possibility of slight dental sensitivity (usually, this disappears after a few days).

Procedures

The dental veneer procedures we use

The creation of veneers is a complex procedure. Dental veneers can be made directly from composite material or indirectly in a dental laboratory.
The dental veneering procedure can be of two types:
With tooth reshaping – a technique in which the tooth is reduced (shaped);

Without tooth reshaping (no-prep) – a technique in which the tooth is not reduced (not shaped).

The procedure is adapted according to each patient's dentition.

Direct veneering
Direct veneering is done using a synthetic resin (composite) that is shaped and bonded to the tooth to improve its appearance and is performed by the dentist in the clinic.

Indirect veneering
Indirect veneering is done using materials that most faithfully mimic the natural appearance of the tooth (ceramic, composite), and the veneers are created in a dental laboratory. These veneers can be shaped and colored so that you receive the "ideal" veneers.

Choosing dental veneer treatment at Smile Vision clinic is a wise decision for anyone who desires a perfect smile, thanks to our comprehensive and personalized approach. Here’s why Smile Vision stands out:
Detailed Planning

Before initiating any procedure, we commit to meticulously planning your treatment. The Digital Smile Design (DSD) technology allows us to show you the ideal size, position, shape, texture, and color of each tooth before beginning the treatment. This means you will know in advance what the final result will be, ensuring that you are completely happy and satisfied with your new smile.

Advanced facial and dental study

We take a series of professional photographs to thoroughly examine facial and dental aspects. This crucial step helps us understand each patient's specific needs and personalize the treatment accordingly.

The MOCK-up test

We offer the possibility to test a MOCK-up directly on your natural teeth, without the need for reshaping. This step allows you to see and feel how your smile will look, decide if it is exactly what you want, and make any necessary adjustments before the final application.

Own digital dental laboratory

Having a digital dental laboratory within the clinic allows us to obtain dental veneers in just a few hours. This is possible through computer-assisted design and precision milling, ensuring a perfect fit and fast results.
